Hi there and Welcome
My name is Karla and I am so glad you’re here! I am a lifestyle pet photographer located in the beautiful Okanagan. I’d love to get to know you and your furry sidekick better! Our pets (whether it is a dog, cat, horse or hamster) are such a big part of our family. They leave their paw prints on our hearts, smiles on our faces and love us unconditionally. Each pet has a unique personality and I would love to capture it forever in photo session. So send me a message and let’s chat.
Pawsitive Sessions
Pawsitive Session Info
Each session is planned around what best reflects your pet's personality and comfort zone. If hiking and the outdoors is your favourite thing to enjoy together, we can do that! If being at home on the couch is your furry friend's jam, all good! They always seem to find the best window light which makes for amazing photos. Every session includes your pet's paw print taken with an inkless kit. The print can be added to product after the session in a few creative ways so that you have their print forever with you. Each session also comes with your very own gallery of images. From there, you are able to download your images, order additional prints and share with friends and family.

About The girl behind the camera...
Well hello there! Let me introduce myself. My name is Karla, a fun loving photographer here in Kelowna, British Columbia. I love all pets... furry and feathery, manes, scales and tails... except the 8 legged kind. The fear is real. I grew up on an acreage where I always had a home full with pets. Cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, horses and even a frog named Kermit <--- when you're 8 years old it was the coolest name ever. Fast forward to married life. My husband knew he accepted me in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer and all things that I brought home in pet form. Two months into marriage we actually moved apartments to somewhere pet friendly. Cue us bringing home our first kitten, Starsky. He is in the photo to the left. He was my sidekick and my constant no matter what was happening in life. He was with us for 13 amazing years. It was heartbreaking and devastating saying good bye. I received his paw print in the mail from my vet. My heart broke all over again. Unsure what to do with it, I knew I wanted to keep it considering it still held sentimental value and was something unique to him and his mark he left on our family. So I added it to my favourite photo of the two of us. I am so thankful that being a professional photographer, I had documented his life so well. Those pictures and his paw print mean the world to me and the sentimental value is priceless. That is what I want to offer to you! Quality photos that capture your pets unique personality and your special bond with them. Send me a message and lets plan your Pawsitive session karlarosalin@gmail.com
